Christian Pulisic & Yunus Musah are going nowhere! AC Milan’s transfer stance on USMNT pair revealed amid managerial uncertainty at San Siro

As the winter transfer window draws to a close across Europe, transfer speculation has already begun regarding the summer of 2024. Movement is expected in Milan, on and off the field, with questions being asked about how long Stefano Pioli will be sticking around as manager.

If he is to move on at the end of the season, then a number of players – including those that he helped to bring into the club – will see questions asked of their future. United States internationals Pulisic and Musah fall into that category.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, there is no chance of the American pair being deemed surplus to requirements. Pulisic and Musah have impressed during their debut campaigns in Italy, with the former landing the Serie A Player of the Month award for December while the latter has delivered a number of energetic performances in the middle of the park.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Tijjani Reijnders, Malick Thiaw and Ismael Bennacer are also expected to stay put, but the likes of Rafael Leao, Fikayo Tomori and Mike Maignan have been attracting interest from leading sides across Europe and may prove difficult to retain if big-money bids are tabled.
