Chelsea & Man Utd in Gianluigi Donnarumma transfer talks as PSG exit looms after being dropped from Super Cup squad

Following the signing of Lucas Chevalier from Lille, Donnarumma has fallen out of the pecking order at PSG. According to a report by AS, manager Luis Enrique has also informed him that he will not be the first-choice custodian anymore. Amidst this, Premier League giants Chelsea and United have enquired about the Italian's situation. Donnarumma has a year left in his contract and looks set to be sold this summer amid his refusal to sign an extension.

PSG refused to meet Donnarumma's demands and opted to sign Chevalier, whose ball-playing abilities attracted the club. Donnarumma is open to playing in the Premier League and getting dropped for the Super Cup against Spurs could encourage him to make the switch. Recent rumours have heavily linked United with the former Milan graduate, but Chelsea have now joined the race for his signature. 

PSG are overstocked on goalkeepers with Chevalier's arrival, with five options now at Luis Enrique's disposal. Renato Marin, Arnau Tenas and Matvey Safonov make up the remaining shot stoppers alongside Donnarumma and Chevalier.

The relationship between Donnarumma and PSG does not indicate that the goalkeeper will continue in Paris. He will now have to weigh his options and wait for the most suitable offer.
