Chelsea lose out! PSG reach €20m agreement to sign coveted Corinthians starlet Gabriel Moscardo

According to Fabrizio Romano, Paris Saint Germain have reached a verbal agreement with the Brazilian club to sign the 18-year-old midfielder for €20m plus €2m in add-ons.

The player is expected to travel to Paris once a formal agreement is reached between the two clubs.

Premier League giants Chelsea, at one point in time, were keen on signing the teenager in the upcoming January transfer window and had reportedly even placed a bid for the player which was rejected by the Brazilian side before PSG came in and secured a deal.

Earlier this month, Moscardo was pictured in Paris holidaying with his girlfriend Julia Silvestre during their European trip after the Brazilian football season came to an end.

Luis Enrique's side entered the winter break with a five-point lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table over Nice. They will be next seen in action in the Trophee des Champions final against Toulouse on January 3.
