  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Maignan has long been admired at Stamford Bridge and has featured prominently on Chelsea’s shortlist for some time. The decision, however, now rests with the Rossoneri hierarchy, who must choose between retaining their prized goalkeeper or cashing in while his market value remains high.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Bringing Maignan to Stamford Bridge could represent a win-win scenario for all involved. Chelsea would gain a world-class goalkeeper in his prime, while the French star would have the opportunity to take on a new challenge in the Premier League and compete in the Champions League, after Milan missed out on qualification following their dismal eighth-place finish in Serie A.

    WHAT NEXT FOR CHELSEA?

Robert Sanchez’s underwhelming performances between the posts last season have raised the alarm bells in west London. The club is eager to raise their standards to get back to the very top, especially with Champions League nights returning to Stamford Bridge from the 2025-26 season.
