Besiktas outcast Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain interested in Premier League return with Little Mix fiancee Perrie Edwards 'struggling' with long-distance relationship

Oxlade-Chamberlain signed for Besiktas as a free agent in 2023 but is enduring a tough time in Turkey and is eyeing a return to England, according to The Sun. The 31-year-old has only made two Super Lig starts so far this season and has attracted interest from both Leicester City and Wolves ahead of the close of the January transfer window.

Former Manchester United man Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has just taken over as Besiktas manager and is said to be willing to give Oxlade-Chamberlain another chance. However, the forward is also keen to return home as Little Mix fiancee Perrie Edwards is struggling to cope with the couple's long-distance relationship.

She said earlier this year: "I have to be honest – I’m not going to sugarcoat it – it’s blooming hard . . . it’s really hard. I’m struggling a bit with the Turkey situation. When he played for Arsenal it was great because he was just down the road. Liverpool, Manchester, not that bad, but Turkey! Turkey is a little bit further and the thing is they are so busy. They train every day practically. But do you know what? We make it work, because we make it work for the ones we love. So it’s fun, it’s exciting. It still keeps it fresh, I think.”
