Arsenal and Mikel Arteta are keen to improve their squad going into next season as they look to do one better than the last two seasons as they finished second in the Premier League title race. As such, they have put Luiz on their midfield shortlist and as per The Mirror, the Gunners will have to cough up £50 million ($63.5m) to sign him this summer.
GettyDID YOU KNOW?
Juventus and AC Milan have also shown interest in the Brazilian's services and will have to work on the same asking price this summer. The Old Lady have reportedly thought about offering Weston McKennie to Emery's side to sweeten the deal and reduce the cash output as they are not keen on parting with that big a sum.
