AFPTHE BIGGER PICTURE
Mainoo is part of an exciting crop of youngsters at Old Trafford, alongside Amad, Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho, and the Ivorian winger believes his midfield team-mate can go on to become a club legend. Given the calibre of players that have graced Manchester United's colours during the club's rich history, that's quite the compliment.
AFPWHAT NEXT FOR MAN UTD
Manchester United will be hoping the likes of Mainoo can inpire the team to glory this season. However, Erik ten Hag's side have made a slow start to the campaign and take on Tottenham on Sunday aiming for just their third Premier League win of 2024-25.
