Lehmann has recently hit back at critics of her glamorous on-field appearance and made it clear how much she likes to look good both on and off the football pitch. Her mother, Sarah Guggisber, has also taken time out to defend her daughter and insists her looks should not detract from her footballing ability.

WHAT LEHMANN'S MUM SAID
According to Mundo Deportivo, she posted on Instagram: "She wears makeup, right? She's been playing in the top flight for years. It's not like she just wears makeup. You don't know her at all and you don't know what a wonderful person she is. And she became famous for her footballing achievements, not her makeup."
