According to BILD, there is a £57 million ($77m) clause in Kane’s contract that can be triggered in the summer of 2026. In order for that cut-price fee to become active, the ex-Spurs star must inform Bayern of his intention to leave before the end of the winter window in January.
New contract: Bayern advised to discuss extension
Speculation regarding Kane’s future is likely to intensify from this point, with one of the most fearsome frontmen in world football showing no sign of slowing down. BILD claim that rather than considering a sale, Bayern should be looking to extend Kane’s contract by a further 12 months through to 2028.
