The message was direct: Bayern's core is not for sale.

The harder task is moving on those the club no longer needs. Eberl was blunt about loan returnees Joao Palhinha, Bryan Zaragoza, and Sacha Boey, warning that any player who refuses to leave will find himself without a meaningful role. No concrete transfer has materialised for any of the three yet, which leaves that part of the squad picture unresolved.

On the injury front, there is cautious optimism around new signing Ismael Saibari, whose World Cup muscle problem has been confirmed as a fibre tear rather than something more serious.
