Harry Kane broke another Bundesliga record when scoring two penalties in Bayern Munich’s crushing victory over Hoffenheim. England captain Kane netted a hat-trick in that contest - his second of the 2025-26 campaign - with a couple of efforts coming from the spot. The prolific frontman has never missed from 12 yards in the German top-flight - with 17 strikes converted.
Kane yet to miss Bundesliga penalty
That remarkable run has seen Kane rewrite the history books. He is the first player in Bundesliga history to successfully score 17 penalty kicks. His unblemished record was maintained in a 4-1 victory at Hoffenheim.
Hans-Joachim Abel has been overtaken in the penalty-scoring department, with Kane pulling level with the former Fortuna Dusseldorf, Bochum and Schalke star when scoring spot-kick No.16, before then moving into a league of his own.
