Samedi, Pellegrino Matarazzo est entré dans l’histoire en devenant le premier entraîneur américain à remporter un titre majeur dans l’un des cinq grands championnats, après la victoire de sa Real Sociedad aux tirs au but face à l’Atlético de Madrid. Pour sa deuxième saison sur le banc de la Real, l’ancien défenseur a offert au club de Saint-Sébastien son premier trophée depuis 2019-2020, au terme d’une finale haletante et riche en rebondissements.
