Zusi replaces Johnson on USMNT roster

Graham Zusi has been named to Bruce Arena's United States men's national team roster ahead of a pair of crucial World Cup qualifiers later this month. Zusi replaces Fabian Johnson, who suffered a hamstring injury while playing for club side Borussia Monchengladbach earlier this week.

MLS Talking Points: Week 3

Able to play multiple positions, Zusi has recently been employed as a right back for both club and country. He could see time in that position or as a direct replacement for Johnson on the wing in the upcoming qualifiers, the first of which is against Honduras in San Jose, California, on March 24. The U.S. will then travel to face Panama in Panama City on March 28.

Arena's side sits dead last in the Hexagonal after two games having lost to both Costa Rica and Mexico.
