Al Ainâs president, Ghanem Al Hajeri, stated that a decision to appoint Al Nassrâs former coach Zoran Mamic has not been reached yet, and that the coach is an option among others in Al Ainâs shortlist.
Reports indicated that the Croatian coach handed in his resignation to the Saudi club because of the interest of other clubs from the Arab Gulf, particularly, Al Ain of UAE.
Al Hajeri explained that Al Ain didnât contact the former Al Nassr tactician, but heâs in the shortlist for possible candidates.
The Al Ainâs president stated that the new coach to succeed the recently resigned Zlatko Dalic, as 6 names are being considered for the vacant post after the sub-standard performances of the Emirati club.
