VIDEO: Bordeaux secure draw against Lyon with illegal goal

The opening goal in Friday's meeting between the two French clubs was given in uncertain circumstances, with replays showing it shouldn't have stood

Bordeaux's 1-1 Ligue 1 draw against Lyon on Friday evening was surrounded by controversy.

'Flat-track bully' Pogba out to impress

The home side opened the lead after just 16 minutes, though there were arguments the goal should not have stood, with Valentin Vada scoring from an offside position.

The ball was slipped through the Lyon defence by Francois Kamano, with Vada on the shoulder of the last defender, before the midfielder tucked the ball under Anthony Lopes in the away goal.

Replays show, though, that Vada was indeed offside and the goal shouldn't have counted.
