Ulinzi Stars head coach Benjamin Nyangweso has noted quality in new signing Baron Oketch from Gor Mahia.

Oketch, who was loaned out by K’Ogalo in January, was part of the team which beat Muhoroni Youth 2-0 in a friendly match played on Thursday and Coach Nyangweso can already start counting on him. He also noted some good performance from the returning duo of Stephen Ochollah and Evans Amwoka.

“They showed their quality, but it is difficult to judge them at this point because everyone is not on top in terms of fitness. Baron played well and showed very good qualities which will be a huge asset to us. The focus now from here is to build on fitness,” he told the club’s official website.

Oscar Wamalwa and Justine Onwong’a were the men behind the goals making it the first win ahead of season's duty. It was also their first pre-season friendly match.
