Tusker keen on bouncing back against Thika United

Tusker FC assistant Coach Francis Baraza is confident that the Kenyan Premier League champions will bounce back this weekend against Thika United.

The brewers started the season on a low note against the promoted Nzoia Sugar, falling heavily at home. Despite that, the former Chemelil Sugar tactician is optimistic his side will not fall again.

"We have been training really well and the defence was our priority. We have worked on it this week and also strengthened some parts we felt were weak. The defeat is more than a motivation to us, we have learnt our lesson and want to do better this weekend.

"The return of Wanga (Allan), Mieno (Humphrey) and others is a big boost to us, they will really give us the much needed boost," he told Goal.

Tusker have not won any of the four competitive matches in all competition.
