Selangor winger Syahmi Safari is the man of the hour for the Red Giants. In their 4-2 win over T-Team on Saturday, he opened the scoring for the Red Giants, and contributed to their final goal of the evening, when his try was deflected by a defender into his own net.
And the 19-year old apparently celebrated one of his goals by emulating the celebration favoured by Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann.

When asked by a reporter about his celebration choice in the post-match press conference, the Malaysia U22 international explained that although he is a winger, he has long admired the French striker's abilities.
"Although he is a striker, I've always admired his passing technique and ball control, as well as his decision-making in tight situations," said the youngster.
But despite his sterling performance, Selangor boss Maniam Pachaiappan wants Syahmi to keep both his feet on the ground instead.
"He needs to forget this game and focus on the next one. That's most important for him, as a player," said Maniam in the same press conference.
