After winning his first four league games in charge of Manchester United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is on track to match Matt Busby’s scintillating start to life at Old Trafford but first faces a massive test against Tottenham.

Not only do Spurs sit 10 points clear of the Red Devils on the table, United have also lost their last three away Premier League matches against them.

A track record made all the worse considering they had lost just three of their first 23 away matches against Spurs in the competition between 1992 and 2014.

Solskjaer's side have lost two of their past three games at Wembley, while have won just four of their last 17 away Premier League matches in London.

After losing to Wolves at Wembley at the end of 2018, Tottenham have a record of not repeating their mistakes and haven't lost consecutive league games at home since May 2015.

While now under a new manager, United have failed to beat any recognised 'top six' side this season from five attempts.

Though looking rejuvenated under Solskjaer, the Red Devils will struggle to pick up their first scalp of the season against a well-oiled Spurs side.

Harry Kane remains key for Tottenham and has scored eight goals from his last eight Premier League starts.

Solskjaer does have an in-form Marcus Rashford up his sleeve with the young gun looking to score in three consecutive top-flight games for the first time in his career.

But up against Mauricio Pochettino, strongly linked to possibly replacing Solskjaer at Old Trafford, United will have to rely on more than one player stepping up if they are to avoid slipping up.
