Milan face D-Day in Donnarumma talks
Los Blancos have won three Champions Leagues in the last four years, with Ronaldo as the driving force, and the attacking midfielder, who scored in the 4-1 win over Juventus a fortnight ago, has explained that the Portuguese sets the tone with the way he trains.
“What I admire about him is the ambition he has after having won so many things on a collective and individual basis,” the 21-year-old told Marca. “The hunger he still has, the way he trained and the same he stays in the gym once we've finished. He always wants more and that affects the rest of the team. In every training session, you learn from him.”
Meanwhile, he says that the team have to aim just as high next season.
“Real Madrid demands the maximum. You have to win and please,” he said. “This team has an incredible generation which is full of ambition. We cannot lose that hunger to win. That is the key.”
Zinedine Zidane’s side have now won the Champions League a record 12 times and the Spanish title on 33 occasions.
