Manchester United defender Brandon Williams has revealed the "magician" that he believes is the best footballer he has ever played alongside as he was the latest big name to appear on Simply The Best.
Williams has shared a dressing room with some of the best players in the world since entering the Old Trafford dressing room in 2019, but there is one that stands above all others.
"I'd probably say Juan Mata, because he's a magician on the ball," he told GOAL. "He takes control of games in the way he plays.
"He's a good guy off the pitch as well - he speaks to us and he helps us."
Mata left United at the end of last season, and is closing in on a move to Galatasaray, and he is not the only departed United star that Williams is missing sharing time with.

When asked who the funniest member of the United team is, Williams said: "A couple of them have left since last season, like Jesse [Lingard], Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic. They made me laugh the most."
