<p>Alvarez was declared the winner by unanimous decision after dominating the fight.</p><p>After taking the first several rounds to feel out his opponent Alvarez turned up the pressure in the third round and picked up the lone knockdown of the fight in the fourth round.</p><p>He went on to declare himself as the best Mexican fighter in boxing right now, while speaking after the fight.</p><p></p>

<p>Alvarez has been in control of the fight and Munguia's lone shot at victory is if he can pull off a knockout in the final round.</p>

We've reached the 12th and final Round

<p>After taking several rounds of punishment Mungia was able to shake off the cobwebs from his knockdown earlier and shoot off some strong punches of his own.</p>

Munguia finally fights back in Round 7

<p>Alvarez's power punches have seemed to slow down Mungia ever since the knock down.</p><p>Alvarez was able to stun his opponent again and nearly recorded a second knockdown midway through the round as his control of the fight grew.</p><p>He is out punching Mungia 111-99 so far.</p>

<p>Alvarez is putting on a power punching display in round 5.</p><p>Munguia's legs seemed to become slightly unstable as he absorbed more punishment throughout the round.</p>

<p>Munguia has been fighting behind his jab through the first two rounds and has a nice bounce to his step. </p><p>Meanwhile the crowd is letting their love of Alvarez be heard early with passionate chants.</p>
