Manchester City's training kit sponsor - cryptocurrency exchange company OKX - have teamed up with Dutch future house pioneer Oliver Heldens in order to make possible something nobody ever thought they'd see… England's maverick winger and the country's favourite pair of calves Jack Grealish behind the decks.
Jack's always fancied trying his hand at DJing. In fact, he once famously told the press that if he wasn't a footballer he'd be a club promoter in Ibiza or Tenerife. Learning to DJ with Oliver Heldens, then, is a dream come true for Jack.
Heldens took the winger under his wing a few months back and DJ Grealo has taken to music like a duck to water. Heldens compares DJing to playing on the wing — timing runs in behind and knowing when to come short, not getting caught offside. He reckons these qualities will help Grealish with his timing and rhythm, matching up beats and knowing when to add flourishes and when to keep it simple. He makes a compelling point.
