Mesut Ozil is enjoying one of the finest seasons of his career after supplying 10 Premier League assists already so far this term.
And things are going pretty well for him off the pitch, too, after getting back together with his former girlfriend Mandy Capristo.
Ozil split with the German singer last year after alleged messages he had sent to Melanie Rickinger, the ex-girlfriend of footballer Christian Lell, were made public.
But the Arsenal man attended the Bambi Awards in Germany with Capristo on Thursday and shared a photo on Instagram with the caption "Just the two of us" and "#ozistoisback".
Ozil has been handed a rest by Germany boss Joachim Low and is therefore enjoying a break while many of his team-mates are away on international duty.
That should help him pick up where he left off when Premier League action returns but perhaps Gunners fans have Capristo to thank for their star player's early-season excellence.
