The adopted home of Real Gothic, Whitby is the unlikely setting for the capital of Gothic football

Goth culture may not be instantly associated with football, yet they now have two of their very own clubs, who came face-to-face recently in a derby dubbed ‘El Gothico’.

Real Gothic, who were established around a twice-annual charity match in Whitby, England, were the world’s first all-goth club yet they have new rivals from Leeds - Goth City.
