CONFIRMED LINE-UPS - Champions League Final: Barcelona & Manchester United

Barcelona (4-3-3): Valdes; Puyol, Pique, Yaya Toure, Sylvinho; Xavi, Busquets, Iniesta; Messi, Eto'o, Henry.

The Blaugrana have made the best situation they can at the back, with Yaya slotting in as an auxiliary centre-half and Sylvinho and Puyol on each flank. In central midfield, Sergi Busquets has come in to fill the void; a tough guy, but perhaps lacking the athleticism of say, a Keita.

Everything else is as expected and, on paper, unstoppable. A lot will depend on the fitness of Iniesta and Henry. You'd back them both to come good in what is essentially the game of their lives, though neither of them may necessarily last the 90 minutes, and it's on the bench where Barca look a little short, with perhaps just Bojan and Keita to introduce who could make the difference in one respect or the other.

Manchester United (4-3-3): Van der Sar; O'Shea, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra; Anderson, Carrick, Giggs; Park, Ronaldo, Rooney.

As expected, the best back four they have barring long-term absentee Wes Brown, Giggs ahead of Scholes in midfield for a bit more mobility and a very dynamic and energetic front three

It's a team of great balance, with ample options in reserve such as Berbatov, Tevez (late goal specialist), Nani (good on crosses, defending against which Barca are notoriously weak) and Scholes. This is a team capable of winning if they play as a team and are tactically astute.
