Bibi Ramjani entrusted to lead KAFA until 2021

Bibi Ramjani was voted in a the new president of KAFA and will now take helm of the association for three years.

Kelantan FA (KAFA) have got a new president after Bibi Ramjani Ilias Khan won the elections on Sunday to head the association for the term of 2018 - 2021.

Bibi Ramjani who is the Managing Director of Desa Murni Batik Kota Bahru was appointed to the top post of the association after defeating Datuk Muhammad Nasir Hamzah in the voting process.

Datuk Seri Afandi Hamzah defended his deputy KAFA president post, overcoming Datuk Rosmadi Ismail in the process.

With the election success, Bibi Ramjani takes over the position that has been left vacant ever since Tan Sir Annuar Musa step down from the post late 2016.

Kelantan are one of the teams yet to get their club licensing approved for the 2018 season and that is likely to be Bibi Ramjani's first task as president.

She will also need to delve into the constant salary issue that has beset the team this season in particular. Kelantan have been docked points in the Super League due to their inability to get their finances in order.

Kelantan are currently ninth in the Super League with three rounds of matches remaining. They are not yet safe from relegation as they are only a point ahead of 11th place, Sarawak.
