Barcelona unveil striking new pink third kit for 2018-19 season

Barcelona have unveiled a brand new pink away kit!

The Catalan giants' new third kit was unveiled on Wednesday, with Barca tweeting a video of their players wearing the strip in the video game, Pro Evolution Soccer 2019.

The pink design features a sash that shows an aerial view of the city, and Nike designer Pete Hoppins believes the "bold" kit suits Barca's ethos.

“We believe the kit is bold and exciting and therefore ideally suited to FC Barcelona,” he said.

“The football club is part of the fabric of Barcelona, its influence is visible in every avenue and plaza, and that passion really inspired the team’s 2018-19 collection.”

Barcelona could debut the kit this weekend as they face Real Sociedad away from home, prior to hosting PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League.

Barca have enjoyed a perfect start to the Liga season, winning all three of their opening three games, scoring 12 goals and conceding just two along the way.
