Arsenal's Welbeck celebrates with Salt Bae tribute

The Gunners attacker opened the scoring in the FA Cup game with Southampton by performing the latest craze in football celebrations

Danny Welbeck celebrated his double for Arsenal in their FA Cup tie with Southampton with a tribute to the Turkish chef known as 'Salt Bae'.

Nusret Gokce picked up the moniker from online fans when he posted a video of him sprinkling salt on a steak to his Instagram account.

Liverpool closing in on a real crisis

Bayer Leverkusen's Hakan Calhanoglu and Omer Toprak mimicked the pose to celebrate their 3-1 win over Hertha Berlin last week, and now Welbeck has followed suit.

Welbeck dinked the ball over Saints goalkeeper Harry Lewis to open the scoring, with Arsenal's official twitter account sharing his celebratory pose with the caption "Here's some salt for that chip."

The England international then added a second goal as Arsenal took a comfortable 3-0 lead in at half-time in the FA Cup fourth round clash.
