A post on Wrexham's website explained: "Ahead of the 90th anniversary of the Disaster, Wrexham AFC will swap our usual red home shirt for the black away kit for tomorrow’s match against Crawley Town – each featuring a special patch to commemorate the anniversary.
"The patch features a mining lamp, with a stylised 90 – featuring a pit wheel – and the year of the disaster, 1934. Arranged by New York-based Wrexham fan Jay Julg and designed by Liam Stokes-Massey, the logo has been gifted to the Wrexham Miners Project and also features on a range of commemorative clothing and a pin badge. All can be bought from the Wrexham Miners Project, on Maesgwyn Road, with money raised going to their Education Fund."
