West Ham and Wolves considering offers for €30m Barcelona midfielder

According to Marca, West Ham and Wolves could make a €30m offer before the end of window. Casado’s priority remains staying at Barcelona, and he is determined to resist any attempts to push him out of the club.

A graduate from La Masia academy, Casado was called up to the main squad in 2022-23 season to make his debut by replacing Franck Kessie in a Champions League match. Last season under Hansi Flick, Casado played 33 games in which he scored five goals and provided one assist.  English side Tottenham were reportedly interested in Casado but dropped their interest after signing Joao Palhinha from Bayern Munich.

Casado demonstrated his loyalty to the Catalan cause when he applauded Gimnastic de Tarragona on social media for cancelling Jose Maria Calderon’s transfer after the player made anti-Catalan remarks during an Instagram live.

Despite Premier League interest and ongoing speculation, Casado remains focused on breaking into Barcelona’s first team and has no intention of leaving his boyhood club.
