<p>The popular show, which<a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/revealed-how-wrexham-responded-becoming-documentary-stars-ryan-reynolds-rob-mcelhenney/blt3219ba5532dc093a " target="_blank"> lifts the lid on life in North Wales</a> on and off the pitch, recently <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/watch-deadpool-accepts-welcome-to-wrexham-emmy-mr-lively-ryan-reynolds-rob-mcelhenney-co-owners/blt88ef913da72c6c87" target="_blank">enjoyed considerable success at the Emmy Awards</a> as it collected a number of accolades. With awards season still very much in full swing, more honours have been bestowed upon the FX production.</p>

<p>The Producers Guild of America Awards took place on February 25 at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles. ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ was nominated in the Outstanding Producer of Non-Fiction Television category, and ended up walking away with the top prize.</p>

<p>It has already been confirmed that <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/welcome-to-wrexham-season-3/bltc98ad7cc62227a8a" target="_blank">‘Welcome to Wrexham’ will return to screens in April</a> – with the hope being that another promotion party will be covered in 2024 – while there have been suggestions that <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/series-four-five-welcome-to-wrexham-red-dragons-director-explains-logic-ryan-reynolds-rob-mcelhenney-extending-documentary-series-emmy/blt7a05d89635602dc4" target="_blank">series four, five and beyond could be lined up</a> as interest in the Red Dragons’ exploits continues to build around the world.</p>
