The UEFA Europa Conference League has certainly divided opinion since its inception a few years ago. On the one hand, did we need another European club competition? On the other, isn't it great we get to live stream more football, and more teams get the chance of European glory?

We know West Ham fans wouldn't argue with that...

Over the last few seasons the Conference League has provided a breath of fresh air from the cash-rich, state-owned clubs of the UEFA Champions League and there are a number of ways you can watch all the action.

Which broadcasters have the rights to the UEFA Europa Conference League?

As with all the UEFA tournaments in the UK, Conference League live coverage can be found on TNT Sports. The broadcaster has had the rights for a number of years now, taking over from ITV and Sky Sports in 2015 when it was BT Sport.

TNT Sports channels now show all UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League action, as well as being able to watch Conference League matches. Broadcast rights include the qualifying rounds, Group Stage and the knockout stages of each competition, including the Final.

The most common method of getting TNT Sports is through BT TV. It's effectively the home of TNT and UEFA Europa League action on subscription and there are a couple of different packages you can pick up depending on exactly what you want. These start at around £18 per month, rising to £76 per month for larger offerings.

    BT TV and TNT Sports

The cheapest offering through BT TV is with the BT TV and TNT Sports package. This is a 24-month fixed contract that includes TNT Sports and Eurosport, as well as a wealth of freeview channels. This means you won't miss a moment of the UEFA Europa Conference League, as well as a host of exclusive Premier League games also broadcast live across the TNT Sports channels.

There is a £39.99 installation and sign-up fee, but it's comfortably one of the cheapest packages to watch UEFA Conference League football.

    BT TV Big Sports Package

The Big Sports package from BT TV offers much of the same, but levels you up slightly in terms of the amount of sport you can live stream on top of the UEFA Europa Conference League. That's because you also get all the Sky Sports channels alongside TNT Sports and Eurosport.

Priced at £43 per month, for 24 months, there is no upfront cost and you'll get so much sport outside of the Conference League, UEFA Europa League and Champions League. Sky Sports has the broadcast rights to the most Premier League games in the country, as well as the English Football League and a host of European divisions. That's on top of the likes of boxing, WWE, MotoGP, F1 and more, all of which can be enjoyed with Big Sports.

    BT TV VIP

Stepping up the content, £76 per month will get you the VIP package, which gives you access to HDR channels, meaning you can watch UEFA Europa Conference League matches in the highest of qualities, as well as a raft of entertainment and movie channels, alongside a Netflix subscription.

It's great for households that have a range of interests, allowing you to not only enjoy the match, but get a great evening's experience streaming Hollywood blockbusters too.

    Discovery+ and TNT Sports

Alongside BT TV, which is essentially the streaming home of TNT Sports, you can also find alternative platforms. Discovery+ will also provide you with the opportunity to watch all Conference League matches through TNT Sports.

It is a slightly higher price than the BT TV and TNT Sports package though at £33.98 per month. However, you aren't tied to a fixed contract. Essentially, it breaks down as £3.99 per month for the basic Discovery+ package and an additional £29.99 per month for TNT Sports, which can be cancelled at any time.

    TNT Sports Monthly Pass

With the UEFA Europa Conference League taking a break over the winter months and summer period, it may be worth just taking out a TNT Sports Monthly Pass, particularly if you are only a casual viewer of the beautiful game.

You can pick up a monthly pass either through your existing BT TV subscription or online and through the TNT Sports app.

    Through Your EE Phone Contract

It's also possible to watch the UEFA Europa Conference League on the TNT Sports app through your mobile phone network operator if you are with EE. As a package, this is priced at £20 per month, with you able to stream all the TNT Sports channels and on demand content through it.

However, you may also be able to add TNT Sports as your free bolt on through the provider, depending on the details and conditions of your contract. What is also worth noting that you'd only be able to watch your UEFA Europa Conference League live stream through the device which is tied to your contract. You wouldn't be able to log-in anywhere else.

As with the ability to add Sky Sports to your BT TV package, you can also do the same with a Sky TV package, with the TNT Sports add-on costing £25 per month on top of the subscription you already have. At Sky TV's most basic package level this will take your monthly bill to around the £50 per month mark, making it one of the more expensive options.

  • Virgin Media laptopGetty Images / GOALFind the best deals

Equally, Virgin Media's Bigger Bundle, which includes TNT Sports, is also a much more expensive affair at £72 per month. But putting it into context, with that package you also get Sky Sports, Virgin Fibre broadband and included in it is your landline bill. So it is a lot more for your money alongside just TNT Sports, so could be worth evaluating all your outgoings to see if it works out at a more reasonable rate.

  • If you're a big football fan and enjoy the game outside of the UEFA Europa Conference League too, then looking at bigger packages is certainly worth while. The BT TV Big Sports package is great for football, giving you pretty much every game you can possibly watch in the UK, alongside the likes of UFC, boxing, Formula 1 and many golfing and tennis majors.

However, there are also cheaper ways to do it, particularly if you are an EE customer and happy to just live stream UEFA Europa Conference League football on your phone.
