Amazon Prime is gearing up to launch an intriguing reality TV series titled 'Married To The Game,' offering a unique peek into the lives of wives and girlfriends (WAGs). The six-part documentary series is set to feature former Manchester City players Ilkay Gundogan and Riyad Mahrez, along with their partners. Arsenal star Jorginho will be seen along with his fiancee Catherine Harding.

Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Matt Turner will feature with his wife Ash, who is a Harvard University graduate and boasts a Master's degree in business management. The camera will also follow Everton defender, James Tarkowski and his wife Sam, who is a fitness model and influencer.

The trailer emphasizes that the glamorous facade often associated with the partners of high-profile footballers doesn't capture the full reality. The producers promise an unprecedented glimpse into the women's lives as they navigate the complexities of work, family, and home alongside their partners' illustrious careers. The series will showcase various event - including weddings, parties, and photoshoots - across its six episodes, providing viewers with a comprehensive view of the featured individuals' lives.

The executive producer of the show, Rachael Parker, told reporters: "'Married To The Game is a series with warmth and humour at its heart, offering a surprising and intimate look behind closed doors at the women who share their lives with some of the world’s most celebrated international footballers."

Among the highlights, Jorginho's recent proposal to singer Harding is set to be a noteworthy moment. Apart from that, Mahrez and Taylor Ward will offer insights into their lives, including their post-Treble relocation to Saudi Arabia. This will be of significant interest to viewers since Jordan Henderson recently forced his way out of Al-Ettifaq after failing to adapt to life in Saudi Arabia.

'Married To The Game' intends to explore the multifaceted lives of these footballers and their partners, offering a blend of personal and professional narratives. The show is scheduled to go on air next month on February 23.
