VIDEO: USMNT star Sergino Dest provides behind-the-scenes look at PSV Eindhoven's Eredivisie title celebrations as defender pops champagne with knee strapped up following ACL injury

PSV lifted their 25th Eredivisie title last weekend and their first in six years. Barcelona loanee Dest did not feature in their final few games due to suffering an ACL injury but that did not stop him celebrating his side's triumph with his team-mates, while sporting a knee brace, too.

In an Instagram video, captioned, "Celebrate Your Wins Responsibly," the defender can be seen saying, "Today is gonna be the championship, man. We have to win against Sparta and then we're gonna celebrate. Maybe have a little after party with the team. Yeah, man. We're going to enjoy it - 100% man."

He can then be seen with a knee brace on, dressing up for the occasion, before showing footage of their post-match celebrations - on and off the pitch - following the 4-2 win over Sparta Rotterdam at the weekend.

The 23-year-old faces something of an uncertain future. Barcelona inserted a buy option into the PSV loan deal and while the Dutch side were keen on recruiting him permanently, this injury throws a spanner in the works. He is out of contract at the Spanish giants in 2025 and will now spend a long time on the sidelines. What happens to him going forward remains to be seen.

Following PSV's title celebrations, United States international Dest will spend a lengthy time recovering from his injury before stepping up his rehab in the coming weeks and months. It is not yet known if he will play for PSV again.
