WHAT MOHAMED ELNENY SAID ABOUT LEAVING ARSENAL
In a video message, he said: "Gunners. I am here today to send you a message to say goodbye and thank you for everything you have done for me. The love, support, and kindness; I am going to miss you so much and you will be in my heart forever. I want to say how much I love you and how much you mean to me and I will never forget the way you supported me. I am going to see you on Sunday at Emirates Stadium to say goodbye, face to face. See you, Gunners."

Elneny has been a loyal servant for Arsenal over the past eight-and-a-half years. He helped them win the FA Cup in 2017 and was part of the sides that reached the finals of the League Cup a year later and the Europa League in 2019. While he was on the fringes in recent years, his Arsenal legacy is intact.
WHAT NEXT?
Elneny, who had a loan spell at Besiktas during the 2019/20 campaign, will now look for a new club. Before then, he will get his chance to say goodbye to fans on Sunday when they host Everton at the Emirates in their final game of the Premier League season.
