After it looked like City would be able to turn their first-half dominance into a lead, England international Park took a touch and then curled an unstoppable strike into the top corner in the 40th minute to make it 1-0. The 23-year-old seemed a bit shocked by her own brilliance during Sunday's Women's Super League clash.

City are unbeaten so far this season and currently top the WSL. Since their 2-2 draw with title contenders Arsenal in their first game of the season, Gareth Taylor's side have won every game they have played.

After this clash at Selhurst Park against Palace, City host Tottenham on Friday in their next WSL encounter. They then return to Champions league action, where they entertain Hammarby on November 12.
