<p>Prince William's visit to Wrexham coincided with St. David's Day, the annual celebration honouring Wales's patron saint. The royal visit aimed to recognize the positive impact that Wrexham Association Football Club, owned by McElhenney and fellow actor Ryan Reynolds, has had on the local community.</p><p>Behind the bar, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/wrexham-royal-visit-rob-mcelhenney-phil-parkinson-prince-william-stok-racecourse-st-david-s-day/blt780b7e51f955f6e3#cs9ca4f2eeeb863f21" target="_blank">Prince William pulled a pint for the pub's owner, Wayne Jones, </a>and indulged in a shot of Four Walls whiskey, a brand founded by McElhenney himself. However, Reynolds was unable to join the festivities due to his commitments to the latest installment of the Deadpool film series.  </p>

Continuing his visit, Prince William made his way to the Racecourse Ground, where he was presented with a personalized Wrexham jersey bearing his name and the number 9, a token of appreciation from first-team captain Luke Young and club captain Ben Tozer.  </p><p></p>
