USWNT 'in a good place' under Emma Hayes as Trinity Rodman offers insight into ex-Chelsea manager's methods

The former Blues boss formally took charge of the United States women's national team last month and oversaw two convincing friendly wins over South Korea. Hayes is now preparing her team in the quest for an Olympic gold medal in Paris later this month.

Washington Spirit star Rodman recently spoke about the British manager's impact on the team within a short period as the forward spoke highly of her coach. She also offered insight into the tactics of the seven-time Women's Super League-winning coach.

Speaking to reporters, Rodman said, "I think she does a really good job of just building every day. I think she’s always thinking about the present moment and what she can do. We’re learning every day, we’re building our relationships, which has been good, and it’s come so naturally. We’re in a good place right now."

The Americans will play their final friendly match against Costa Rica on Tuesday before they travel to Paris to take part in the Summer Olympics.
