U.S. men's national team defender Chris Richards and goalkeeper Matt Turner have advanced to the FA Cup final with Crystal Palace after defeating Aston Villa 3-0 in their semifinal match on Saturday.
An opening strike from Eberechi Eze and a brace from Ismaila Sarr secured them victory on the day, and a spot in the final of the competition for the first time since 2016, and just the third in the competition's storied history.
Richards started the match and played all 90 minutes, while Turner sat on the bench as the backup to goalkeeper Dean Henderson. Villa, meanwhile, were without star attacker Marcus Rashford - who missed due to injury - and couldn't find a result without him.
