‘Trinity squared!’ - USWNT star Rodman shows off new NFL star boyfriend with exactly the same name

The United States international, who will be hoping to form part of Emma Hayes’ plans at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris later this year, has linked up with American football player Trinity Benson. The pair have gone public on social media.

Rodman’s international team-mates have been quick to offer their congratulations, with Sophia Smith reacting to a “hard launch”, while Mallory Swanson simply said: “YESSSSS.” Ashley Sanchez, who has played alongside Rodman at the Washington Spirit, added: “Only thing better than 1 Trinity is 2.”

Benson is currently a free agent following his release by the Cleveland Browns in 2023. He has previously formed part of practice squads at the Denver Broncos and Detroit Lions – with all of his regular seasons outings to date coming during his time in Michigan, where he posted 10 receptions for 103 yards across nine appearances.

Rodman - who is the daughter of NBA legend Dennis, who once played alongside Michael Jordan at the Chicago Bulls – has enjoyed a productive 2024, with the 22-year-old forward forming part of triumphant USWNT squads at the W Gold Cup and SheBelieves Cup.
