The goalkeeper was at fault for France's opener but made up for it with some good saves at the end of a strong tournament. Upon his side's return to Spain, the Paris Saint-Germain stopper posted an Instagram story of him being stopped at airport security for setting the alarm off, taking out his gold medal, and then dancing for all to see.

Alongside posting the Instagram story, the 23-year-old captioned it: "Vamos (Let's go)."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Spain are enjoying a bit of footballing dominance at present, both in the men's and women's game. The women's team won the 2023 World Cup and then last month the men's side triumphed at Euro 2024, and now they have an Olympic gold, too. However, the women's team went from Paris without a medal, having lost to Germany in the third-place match.
