Revealed: When Sir Jim Ratcliffe will watch Man Utd live for first time as co-owner after completion of INEOS' 25 percent takeover

Ratcliffe is now the ultimate authority at United when it comes to making key sporting decisions, especially transfers and the future of manager Erik ten Hag. Not only does he want to witness significant improvement in the men's senior team, but he has also taken an active interest in the women's and academy teams, and performance staff. He has also pledged an additional $300 million funding to renovate a crumbling Old Trafford.

Ratcliffe and Brailsford are expected to pay regular visits to the offices at United and harbour intentions to hire a sporting director and recruitment specialist. His approach is likely to be a sharp contrast to the Glazers, who last attended a game in February - United's Carabao Cup final win over Newcastle at Wembley. Ten Hag's troops should be fired up to clinch the three points over Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham in front of their new employers.
