    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Firmino is reported to be unhappy at Al-Ahli and ready to leave the club after just six months. Fulham, meanwhile, are eager to invest in a new striker after seeing their previous talisman, Aleksandar Mitrovic, depart for Saudi Arabia, too, joining Al-Hilal.

  • WHAT MARCO SILVA HAS SAID

Fulham boss Marco Silva has hinted the club could make some moves in the winter transfer window.

"I'm sure, that our financial condition, even if I'm not an expert, should be much much better than when I joined the club. It has to be," he told reporters.

"We haven't done anything crazy in the market in the last two seasons. The way we sold some players, and one particularly (Mitrovic), of course has to help us breathe. Because of that our financial point of view has to be much better right now. Let's see what we can do during this market."

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Despite getting off to a perfect start at Al-Ahli by being given the captain's armband and netting a hat-trick in his debut in their opening Saudi Pro League game of the season, Firmino has failed to find the net in any of his subsequent 18 performances. The Brazil international has come off the bench in each of his last seven matches in the league.

The 32-year-old, who spent eight years at Liverpool, will be looking to secure a way out of Ah-Ahli as soon as possible in an attempt to get back to his best form.
