Hope for Arsenal?! PSG sweating on Ousmane Dembele's fitness after French star misses training ahead of Champions League semi-final second leg

According to journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Dembele was absent from PSG's team training on Thursday and is 'doubtful' to face Arsenal next week due to a hamstring complaint. He added that the 27-year-old is likely to miss this weekend's Ligue 1 game with Strasbourg and the severity of the injury is not yet known.

Dembele is in the form of his life, with the speedy forward netting a remarkable 33 goals and 12 assists for PSG this season. The France international scored the only goal of the game as his side beat Arsenal in the first leg earlier this week and if he is absent that will be a big blow for Luis Enrique's team - who are trying to secure the club their first ever Champions League trophy.

Hawkins adds that it was a precautionary measure for Dembele not to train on Thursday but PSG still hope he will be fit to face Arsenal in Paris next week.

PSG, who have already wrapped up the Ligue 1 title, travel to Strasbourg on Saturday, followed by hosting Arsenal four days later. It remains to be seen when Dembele will be back fit.
