  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Foden has revealed that City are being inspired to continue their title charge by a sign in the training ground, which reads "Nobody has won four Premier Leagues in a row... yet." City have won the last three and last season, managed to win the treble, although that will not be the case this term, after they were eliminated from the Champions League by Real Madrid in midweek.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

City may be leading the Premier League charge but they are also embroiled in a tense title race, alongside both Arsenal and Liverpool. The Gunners and the Reds are second and third respectively and they both have 71 points, two points behind Pep Guardiola's men.

  • WHAT FODEN SAID

Foden told the Daily Mail: "We know if we win the Premier League this time we will have done something new. It’s something we have our eyes on. Every time we put our boots on at the training ground that saying is there on the wall. It says: 'Nobody has won four Premier Leagues in a row…yet.' We want to put ourselves in history. Every day I sit and look at that slogan and I think: 'Why not?'"
