    THE BIGGER PICTURE

According to The Sun, Foden has hired a full-time personal chef to prioritise his health and well-being as he navigates the demands of the Premier League. The chef will reside in a separate gatekeeper’s cottage on the estate, ensuring they are readily available to meet Foden’s dietary and nutritional needs.

  • WHAT FODEN'S MOTHER SAID

Foden’s mother, Claire, recently commented on her son’s dietary transformation, as the forward is looking to overcome iron deficiency. "The shocking thing is I hear him ordering salmon a lot now, and he never used to eat that!" she shared on the podcast Talk Eat Laugh. "He used to have low iron levels, but that’s all up to scratch now.”

Moreover, a source confided to The Sun: "Phil wants to be on top of his nutrition and the chef has a lovely space to prepare all his meals. It’s the ultimate luxury and because he’s away a lot with the team, having his own chef means he can just focus on his football and young family."

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Foden enjoyed an exceptional season last year, scoring 27 goals and providing 12 assists in 53 games. His impressive contributions played a critical role in Manchester City’s continued dominance in English football, culminating in a fourth consecutive Premier League title. Foden’s outstanding efforts earned him the PFA Player of the Year award, solidifying his reputation as one of England’s most promising young players.

However, this season has presented different challenges for Foden. He has started only three of Manchester City’s 10 league matches thus far.
