Per the Telegraph, Forest are suitors for McAtee this summer, as are Bayer Leverkusen, as both sides are aware of interest in their respective No.10s from the Etihad Stadium. Morgan Gibbs-White and Florian Wirtz are both on the radar of the soon-to-be-deposed Premier League champions. If either were to move, either Leverkusen or Forest could look to replace them with McAtee.

McAtee has been limited to just 13 Premier League appearances this season, but he has scored three goals, and is attracting interest from a variety of suitors; along with Newcastle and AC Milan, Manchester United are even said to be monitoring developments. Leverkusen made a bid for the player in January, attempting to take him on loan with the option of a £25 million ($33m) transfer in the summer. McAtee wants assurances of first-team football next season.
