Biereth netted Monaco's equaliser against Nice on Saturday, a game they went on to win 2-1 to go second in Ligue 1. The striker has already scored three hat-tricks for the club, at home to Auxerre, Nantes and Reims.

Referring to Arsenal's Hale End academy, Monaco posted: "The first player to score 12 goals in his first 10 Ligue 1 matches. Our Hale End Graduate, Mika Biereth."
