Partey has been a key man for Arsenal this season, making 18 appearances in all competitions. However, his contract expires in the summer, and Partey could potentially discuss a move to a foreign club in the January transfer window.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Arteta, though, is remaining relaxed about the situation and maintains that he and the club will discuss the Ghana international's future when they deem it appropriate. He has also once again hailed the performances of the 31-year-old.

  • WHAT ARTETA SAID

Arteta told reporters: "We will have the right time to discuss about the situation.

"He is showing consistency at the highest level, again because his availability and the way that he feels physically is allowing him to do that, and I am very pleased with that."
